    Student Veterinary Nurse to develop nursing skills in the clinic which has a good surgical and medical caseload. You will be supported by a team of nursing staff including RVNs and SVNs, as well as two client care assistants. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. This is a full time permanent position, covering 43 hours per week. You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 Saturdays.

    Veterinary Care Assistant to work as a Patient Care Assistant (Veterinary Care Assistant). In this role you will receive full support and guidance with in-house ‘on the job’ training program led by a qualified buddy. You will be working in all areas of the practice learning the core principles of veterinary nursing. The successful candidate will have plenty of hands on experience with patients including walking dogs and TLC with cats; you will be responsible for maintaining kennels and the general environment to a high clinical standard following cleaning protocols, feeding animals, animal handling and behaviour, reporting back to and assisting nurses with patient care and preparing medical equipment.

    Veterinary Receptionist to provide a telephone answering and service, dealing with routine client queries, making appointments, taking payments, submitting insurance claims, cashing up at end of day and end of week, banking, conversing with clients and staff members, taking and relaying messages, cleaning, stock taking, inputting laboratory results onto client records, maintaining and promoting H&S in the reception area and other parts of the practice as required, sending and responding to emails, etc
