UL are looking for these role which can be based in Compass House, Vision Park.
Intern to provide support to our human factors research teams. Provide support before, during and after our usability studies for medical devices. Assist the HF teams with data collection, collation and analysis. Review and verify the accuracy of test data based on video review of test interviews. Assist in the writing of test protocols, recruitment screeners, consent forms and other study documents. Conduct desk-based research to identify potential usability problems with medical devices: undertake literature searches and known use reviews and write reports of the findings in various aspects of ergonomics and human factors. Perform error analysis of medical error reports in public databases. Whilst the role will be mainly human factors orientated, there may be opportunities to work with our design teams on the re-design of medical device user interfaces and instructional materials.
Manager Creative Services Design for the Regional Team who is responsible for managing the creation of brand compliant, cost effective and high-quality creative material based on briefs/requests from stakeholders. Monitors the progress of designers and current projects to meet customer expectations. Maintains impeccable knowledge of brand guidelines and resources. Works closely with Operations, Creative Execution, Experience Design, Content, Brand, and Portfolio SMEs. Understands how own area of responsibility integrates with other businesses across UL and how UL differentiates itself from competitors to create competitive advantage.
