Medical Secretary, Medical Receptionist – Firs House
Firs House Surgery are recruiting for 4 roles including these.
Medical Secretary with experience in audio-typing, excellent attention to detail and who can prioritise and can work to deadlines. Previous experience working within a GP practice is preferred and knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage, however, full training is provided. The role is for 17 hours per week:
- Wednesday 08:00 – 17:30hrs
- Friday 08:00 – 17:30hrs
Medical Receptionist with experience in customer service, excellent listening and communication skills, and who can work in a pressurised environment. Previous experience working within a GP practice is preferred and knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage, however, full training is provided. The role is for 28 hours per week:
- Monday 08:00 – 13:00hrs
- Tuesday 08:00 – 18:00hrs
- Wednesday 08:00 – 13:00hrs
- Friday 08:00 – 18:00hrs
They are also looking for Bank/Casual Receptionist who would be prepared to offer causal cover during the summer and other school holidays. Applications from University students considered.

It is a role that is central to the whole team providing support so the lawyers can deliver excellent client service each and every time.
