  • Temporary Playgroup Assistant – Ladybird Play Group

    The Ladybird Play Group are urgently looking for a temporary part time playgroup assistant for the summer term (April to July). Hours of work are 3 mornings a week (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) 9am to 12noon (term time only), plus a weekly staff meeting – £9.50 per hour (10 hours per week). Minimum of Level 2 qualification required. Closing date 14th April 2022

  • Kawaii Kubs ‘Aladdin’ pre school play session

    Offering sensory and messy play, crafts, games, a photo corner and bubbles to under 5 years olds at the Royal British Legion Hall, Histon. Sunday 26th November from 9.30am onwards.

    Make your own magic carpet to fly through the desert in search of the cave of wonders. Complete our treasure hunt activity. Explore your Aladdin themed play tray. Make and decorate your own Aladdin magnet to take home. Take your pictures on the magic carpet with Aladdin’s lamp.

  • Shine Playgroup

    On Fridays 11am-12.15pm at the Saint Andrew’s Centre. A place for under fives and carers with a chance to meet with other parents to find support from one another and the team with tea, coffee and cakes. The sessions include singing, playing, telling stories, making things and chatting to each other about day to day life as new parents and about the bigger things when you want to.

    Shine is open to anyone and costs £2 per family.

  • Holiday Club – Churches Together Histon and Impington

    Come to ‘Factory Rock’ Holiday Club with Churches Together Histon and Impington on Tuesday 27th – Thursday 29th July between 10am – 12.30pm. Held at Histon Baptist Church it is for children in Reception through to Year 6. Suggested donation of £15 per child.

    Opportunity Playgroup

    Monday afternoons during school term time, between 1 & 3pm, at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

    The Playgroup provides play for preschool children with additional needs and disabilities and their siblings. It also provides a chance for parents and carers to meet and chat in a comfortable and supportive environment. The Playgroup welcomes families from Cambridge and all surrounding villages.
