    Moses Carter Band at Histon Smokehouse

    The Moses Carter Band will be playing from 12pm at Histon Smokehouse on Sunday 22nd January.

    The local band will be unplugged so acoustic instruments only to accompany Sunday Brunch.

    Choir 2000 is holding a Christmas concert on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December from 7.45pm at Histon Baptist Church.

    Performing ‘Ceremony of Carols’ (Britten) with a harp accompanist. There will be Carols for both Choir and audience to get you in the mood for the festivities.

  • Palm Tree-O Concert

    Impington Music Society is holding a concert on Friday 11th November from 7.30pm at Impington Village College.

    The Palm Tree-O will take us on a nostalgic trip back to the elegant days of afternoon tea accompanied by the salon music of the early part of the 20th century. For many years, the trio (Andrew Taylor, piano; Helen Godfrey, cello; Bruce Godfrey, violin) played ‘mood’ music in the Long Gallery at Wimpole Hall. They all have very impressive musical achievements as well as day jobs in teaching, mathematics and science. A lovely, relaxing evening in the style of days-gone-by in the Brackenbury Room.

    Histon Library is holding an Engage session entitled “My Life in Music” on Wednesday 16th November from 2-3.30pm.

    Gila Margolin will sing her favourite selection of songs from the 60s and Jewish music.

    Histon Smokehouse has a Sunday brunch band on Sunday 9th October. Music from Morrison from 11am to 1pm.

    Sara, Flossie and Ian Morrison will be back with lots of new songs for the Autumn.
