    Cambridge Primary Education Trust (CPET) are looking for a Teaching Assistant at Histon and Impington Infant School to work with groups of children as a general teaching assistant within the classroom and also may involve working as a one-to-one teaching assistant with a specific child. The position is term-time only, for four days a week, from 8.40am until 3.10pm and is temporary until the end of the Summer term 2021 although there is a possibility that it will become permanent.

    Salary: Level 1 Teaching Assistant (£18,198 – £18,933 per annum, pro-rata)

  • Join the hunt for Treasure!


    The PTA at Histon & Impington Infants School have arranged a treasure hunt around the village, which you too can take part in any time over the half term holiday.

    The PTA thought it would be a great idea to involve the community outside of the infants school to have some fun too.

    To get involved and to get a copy of the treasure hunt emailed to you, please donate what you can (suggested donation £5) to the Paypal pay pool: tinyurl.com/InfantsPTA

    The hunt will then be emailed to you from the PTA and you can complete the hunt over the half term holiday! Answers can be emailed back to the PTA to be submitted into a draw for a bundle of books.

    All proceeds raised from the treasure hunt will go towards buying new books for your local school.

    Histon & Impington Infant School are looking for a full time School Caretaker initially at the current Infant School but helping with the move to the new school site at Buxhall Farm. The caretaker will a key holder and responsible for cleaning and general maintenance of the building; porterage duties; liaising with contractors; health and safety around the school sites, attending health and safety/property meetings and the monitoring of premises during community use, when appropriate.

    Salary range from: £17,711 – £21,166 per annum (depending on skills/experience)

Initially the teaching commitment will be at Histon & Impington Infant School leading teachers and teaching assistants in the four-form intake Early Years provision. Both the Junior School and Infant School are moving towards becoming two primary schools, with brand new Foundation Stage classes at both the Junior School and at Buxhall Farm, where the Infant School is being relocated to, at some point during the next academic year.
