    Histon and Impington Library Friends (HILF) are hold a book sale on Saturday 8th April at Histon Methodist Church Hall from 10am to 12pm.

    For all donations of quality books, please can you drop off at 9.30am on the day at the church hall.

    We very much look forward to seeing you there while enjoying the refreshments on offer in the hall.

    Paula Dyason from Strictly Daylilies will give an overview of the different daylilies and their general care and requirements.

    Histon and Impington Women’s Institute is holding a talk on Thursday 20th April from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    Ian Cummings, the “Bake Off” runner up to Nadiya Hussain, will talk about his time on the “Great British Bake Off”.

  • The Hope of Easter

    The five churches in Histon invite you to discover the Hope of Easter on Good Friday from 10am to 12pm.

    We have five different areas for you to explore on The Green, ending with Hot Cross Buns at the Methodist Church. There will be short stories told by characters in the Easter story, things to do, make and play with. 

    All are welcome.

  • Histon and Impington Garden Club

    Histon and Impington Garden Club is holding a talk about hedgehogs on Tuesday 14th March from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church hall.

    Judith Large is coming to talk about hedgehogs, conservation in the garden and Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital.

    Coffee/tea and biscuits will be served after the talk to give members a chance to catch up on garden topics. Visitors are most welcome.

  • HIAG Talk

    Histon and Impington Archaeology Group is holding a talk on Monday 13th March from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    The talk is entitled “Settlement and Sanctuary in the Hinterland of Roman Cambridge” by Iain Leslie, Albion Archaeology. It will reveal the results from the archaeological excavations at the Darwin Green Phase One development between Huntingdon Road and Histon Road.

  • Residents’ Memories of Histon and Impington

    Histon and Impington Village Society is holding a talk on Tuesday 28th March from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    There will be a panel of four local guest speakers who will give an insight into their memories of growing up and working in Histon and Impington. This will be followed by a fun and relaxed Question & Answer session where we hope audience members will share their own memories or ask questions of those who lived here when the villages were much smaller.

  • Members’ Coffee Morning

    Histon and Impington Village Society is holding a members’ coffee morning on Saturday 25th February from 10am – 12pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    This is an opportunity to catch up with friends and meet other members. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be served free of charge to members. Members of our history group will also be available to chat to anyone who is thinking about a research project.
