  • Multi Sport Club

    The Rec Multi Sport Club for children in Reception and Year 1 takes place on Thursdays from 4-4.45pm at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.

    No booking required.

  • Hope Again

    Hope Again is a local group-based bereavement support programme starting on 15th September from 2pm at the Methodist Church Hall.

    The Autumn programme runs for 6 weeks on Thursday afternoons.

  • Histon and Impington Day Centre

    HI Friends run a Day Centre for over 60s every Tuesday and Friday at Kay Hitch Way Community Centre from 9.30am – 1.30pm.

    You will be warmly welcomed and offered a cup of tea or coffee. There is a variety of activities including quizzes, games and of course bingo.  No one has to join in and you can just sit quietly and read the paper if you prefer and of course there is the home cooked lunch and pudding that is made by our wonderful volunteers.

    The Histon and Impington Wellbeing Team are holding a Family Hub session on Saturday 30th April between 11am-12pm at the Saint Andrew’s Centre with the aim of bringing families together to improve wellbeing through creativity. With an hour of wellbeing craft activities for school-aged children, and time to chat and relax for parents.

    HI Friends are holding their Annual Meeting on Tuesday 10th May at 7.30pm at the Recreation Ground Community Room.

    Come find out about HI Friends’ work this year. They are a village charity that aims to help support wellbeing, mobility, sport and recreation for those who live in our community.

  • Community Athletics

    Histon and Impington Community Athletics restarts on Thursday 28th April from 5pm at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.

    This is a fun introduction for Years 3-6 to athletics with George Ball. No advance booking needed.

  • Spring Plant Sale

    HI Friends are organising a plant sale on Saturday 7th May from 10am to 12pm on the Village Green.

    They will be selling locally propagated plants and gardening experts will be on hand to offer information & advice. There will be a chance to win a prize in a gardening raffle.

    If you have plants you can propagate and donate they would love to hear from you.

    Proceeds to go to Friends of Histon and Impington charity, supporting wellbeing and recreation for all.

  • Jubilee Picnic and Garden Party

    There will be an afternoon of fun at the Recreation Ground on Sunday 5th June from 12.30pm.

    Licensed and PIMS bar, refreshments and BBQ.

    Free Entry

    There will be on the day car parking and event signage but please walk/cycle to events whenever possible. Parking for this event is at Histon Football Ground.
