    Corporate Tax Opportunities – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants have opportunities at the following levels within our Corporate Tax Team:

    They are seeking individuals who have corporate and business tax experience within a specialist team. Alternatively, with regard to the Assistant Manager and Manager positions, the roles would suit candidates who have a background in general practice, for instance within accounts production work or within an audit team, but who have had some exposure to corporate/business tax work and are looking to build on their existing knowledge develop a specialism going forward. The firm will fully support transition from a general practice role, if applicable.

    ​The successful candidate(s) can be based at any of their locations, but will need to be prepared to undertake some travel between Ensors offices and to client sites in the region. The roles can be combined with an element of homeworking under the firm’s agile working policy.

    Corporate Services (Audit) Director – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants are looking for several roles including these which can be based in their office on the Vision Park.

    Corporate Services (Audit) Director to be responsible for the day to day running of the Corporate Services Group in Cambridge, and may hold a client portfolio across our offices. In addition, you will be expected to participate in all stages of an audit from planning through to fieldwork and finalisation of the assignment for Partner review. As a senior member of the team, reporting directly to Partners, you will manage a team of auditors simultaneously alongside multiple engagements, whilst also taking a lead on client contact. They would also like the successful candidate to integrate themselves into the local marketplace through the attendance of various external and internal networking events.  The role will involve working closely with partners, and the marketing team, to identify and win new clients and projects for the local offices.

    Trainee Accountants – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants are looking for several roles including this one based in their office on the Vision Park.

    Trainee Accountants for their AAT and ICAEW/ACCA trainee programmes which start in September 2025.  By joining as a Trainee Accountant you will be able to study for professional qualifications whilst also gaining vital hands-on, task-focussed work experience in their busy, growing, multi-disciplinary practice. As an AAT trainee you will follow formal training through an apprenticeship framework for the AAT qualification. ​They would expect applicants to be non-graduates and require you to have (or be predicted to achieve) either: a minimum of 2 A levels at Grade C or above (including Maths) OR the equivalent standard in vocational qualifications.  If the qualification type varies from this, the application will be assessed on an individual basis.  If you do not hold a Maths A level, then they expect a minimum attainment of Grade 6 / Grade B in GCSE Maths. ​Once AAT qualified you may go on to study for chartered qualifications.

    Business Services Trainee Accountant – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants are looking for this role based in their office on the Vision Park.

    Business Services Trainee Accountant (Part Qualified) the role will predominantly involve preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, along with corporation and personal tax compliance.  There will also be some bookkeeping work and preparation of VAT returns for clients.  Some of the duties may be carried out at clients’ premises, so a full clean driving licence and access to own transport will be necessary.

  • Training & Compliance Manager – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants are looking for this role that can be based in their office on the Vision Park

    Training & Compliance Manager working with key stakeholders within the practice, to lead the creation, design and implementation of Ensors’ internal learning programme across all relevant activities undertaken by the firm.  The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management and coordination of Ensors’ compliance policies and procedures, identifying applicable regulatory requirements, and assisting in implementing processes to enable standards to be met. Working with service line leads to update and develop internal working practices focusing on quality, compliance, consistency and efficiency.

  • Business Recovery Administrator – Ensors

    Ensors Chartered Accountants are looking for this role that can be based in their office on the Vision Park

    Business Recovery Administrator to manage their own caseload of mainly corporate insolvency, solvent liquidations and restructuring cases. Communicating and running meetings with directors to establish the financial position of an entity and identify issues in relation to potential insolvency and appropriate procedures. Liaising with relevant stakeholders including directors, employees, and creditors Liaising with Agents, Solicitors and other advisers. Note this is not a general ‘administrative’ position, and relates specifically to the administration of insolvencies.
