    Wednesday 17th December from 2pm at Histon Library.

    Hand craft your very own Christmas Baubles and impress your friends and family.

    £5 per person – make as many baubles as you like with paper, ribbon, threads and beads all provided.

    There will be a vintage and craft fair on Saturday 3rd December from 10.30am – 4pm at the Histon and Impington Royal British Legion.

    The fair will be made up of a mix of antiques, vintage, crafts and collectables.

  • Histon Handmade

    Histon Handmade, the contemporary design and craft fair, will be held on Saturday 26th November from 12 to 7pm at the Saint Andrew’s Centre, Histon.

    After a couple of years on hold, Histon Handmade is holding its sixth event with another exceptional line up of 23 leading local designers/makers.

  • WI: Crafts, Card Making and Relaxation

    Histon and Impington Women’s Institute have a meeting on Thursday 20th October from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    Helen Pinhey will be leading a session on crafts, card making and relaxation techniques.

  • HICLT MakerSpace Creative Afternoon

    Histon and Impington Community Land Trust has been exploring the idea of a Makerspace for the community and is holding a creative afternoon at Histon and Impington Park Primary School on Saturday 22nd October between 3pm and 5pm.  

    A Makerspace would be a place with shared resources that you can use to do creative work, share your skills and meet other creative people. There will be some demonstrations, talks and fun activities as well as a Q&A session. We’ll talk about opportunities to get involved and how to volunteer to help make this project a reality. 

    This is a family friendly event and there will be refreshments available. Parents will be responsible for their children while on school premises.

  • Kidstonfest

    Crafty Kids are joining forces with Histon Smokehouse for Kidstonfest, a week-long Summer holiday festival run by kids to inspire kids from 24th to 28th August, fundraising for local children’s hospice EACH.

    Local children will have the opportunity to have fun and learn some brilliant art/craft/design skills at a range of summer holiday morning creative workshops which will run from 10am-3pm. This might inspire them to make their own products and join Crafty Kidpreneurs in the future.

    These workshops will lead up to a big fun day festival in the Smokehouse garden on Sunday 28th August featuring regular Crafty Kids stallholders, plus the usual music, food, fun, raffle, tombola, entertainment and games.
