  • Great British Spring Clean

    There will be litter picking on Saturday 9th April, as part of the Great British Spring Clean.

    The organiser will be available from 9am in the village car park on the High Street.

    Complimentary refreshments from Histon Smokehouse. If you would like to help, please contact Cedric Foster by email (cedric.jl.foster1944@btinternet.com) to be allocated an area and run through health and safety.

  • Easter Family Event

    HI Churches Together are hosting an Easter family event on Good Friday from 10am to 2pm at Histon Baptist Church.

    The activities will gently relate to and explore the story of Easter in a way that is friendly to children and those who are not so familiar with the events of the first Easter. There will be a variety of activities that suit different ages and interests including games, crafts, baking, prayer/reflection space and film to watch.

    Everyone is welcome, whatever your beliefs or faith.   • Community Breakfast and Coffee Morning

    Histon Salvation Army are holding a Community Breakfast & Coffee Morning on Saturday 19th March from 9.30am-11.30am.

    Histon Iceni Cubs will be helping to take orders, serve food and make everyone feel very much at home.

    Menu includes a full English Breakfast with toast, tea or coffee and juice for only £6.

  • Jubilee Weekend Boogie Night

    As part of the Jubilee weekend celebrations there will be a celebration of 70s/80s music on Saturday 4th June from 7.30pm at the Recreation Ground.

    With special guest band ‘Superstition’, a 9 piece band with brass section.

    Licensed bar and food provided by Histon Smokehouse.

  • Jubilee Weekend Sporting Dinner

    As part of the Jubilee weekend celebrations, there will be a Sporting Dinner on Wednesday 1st June from 7pm (7.30pm start) at Histon Recreation Ground.

    With special guests Chris Sutton, premiership football star and media pundit, and John Stiles, comedian and son of the late Nobby Stiles.

  • Histon and Impington Memories Talk

    Histon and Impington Village Society is holding a talk on Tuesday 29th March from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church.

    This is the first in a series of talks where local residents share their memories of their villages.

    Maurice Beeton will talk about “The Early Life of a Milkman in Histon and Impington in the 1940’s to 1960’s”.
