    Hand craft your very own Christmas Baubles and impress your friends and family.

    £5 per person – make as many baubles as you like with paper, ribbon, threads and beads all provided.

    Join Choir 2000 for a magical evening of music this December. Enjoy Handel’s Messiah (Part I), John Rutter’s The Reluctant Dragon, and a selection of festive carols to welcome the Christmas season.

  • Abbey Fields Christmas Activities

    Abbey Fields have put together ten ideas for nature-themed things to do in the villages or at home during the Christmas holidays.

  • Histon Smokehouse Christmas Markets

    Histon Smokehouse is holding Christmas markets on 26th – 27th November and 10th December from 9.30am to 3pm.

    Many of our favourite local artists, and artisans taking part.

  • Christmas Disco and Crafts

    Ladybird Playgroup is holding a Christmas disco on Friday 16th December from 3-5pm at the Salvation Arm hall.

    Disco, crafts and refreshments.

  • Tylers Mince Pie Morning

    Tylers is holding a cake, mince pie and coffee morning on Friday 16th December from 9am in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

    Anyone is more than welcome to pop in and sample some of the home-made mince pies and cakes on offer along with a hot drink and donate as they see fit.

  • Salvation Army Super Sunday

    Histon Salvation Army is having a super Sunday on 18th December showing the World Cup Final at 3pm and Histon Salvation Army’s Carol Service at 6pm.

    The hall will be open from 2pm for all the pre-match build up and then following the football we will transition into the Carol Service. The perfect end to a wonderful day.

    The heating will be on. The kettle brewing. And the festivities will abound. The odd mince pie may make an appearance too.

  • Meet the Nativity

    Everyone is invited to come and ‘Meet the Nativity’ on Sunday 11th December from 10am.

    Start the trail between 10 – 11am from the Saint Andrew’s Centre and follow a trail of stars to deliver angelic messages to the nativity characters. Finishes at the Saint Andrew’s Centre where there will be a warm welcome with drinks, festive treats, carols, and the final scenes of the nativity drama. 

  • Carols on the Green

    The popular annual Carols on the Green will be on Wednesday 14th December from 6pm.

    There will be stalls with seasonal drinks and the carols will begin about 6.30pm.

    Service sheets will be provided.
