    Histon and Impington Library Friends are holding a book sale on Saturday 9th April from 10am to 12pm on The Green.

    This is held by kind permission of the parish council – weather permitting of course!

    HILF is fundraising to support events and facilities at Histon Library.

  • Have your say on the new Library

    Cambridgeshire Libraries are holding two Zoom meetings where you can virtually meet the new Library Designer and Library staff and give feedback on the new Library internal plans and book stock recommendations. A copy of the plans will be available to view on the Histon Mobile Library from Monday 12th July.

    The meetings will be held at 2pm on Tuesday 13th July with the Designer, and 6pm on the ​Thursday 15th ​July with Library staff.  

    If you wish to attend one of these meetings, please email Terri Lewis, Area Library Manager on BarHill.Referral@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.  A Zoom link will then be forwarded to you.

    Shelf ends that will be distinct to Histon Library are also being designed.  Using the email address above, please share any images that you feel sum up Histon and the ethos of the Library and they could be used in the final design.

    Internal work on the new Library will be carried out over the summer. The new Library is scheduled to open early Autumn.
