    Zumba class led by Kerry 8.30 to 9.30am on Saturdays at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

    £8 PAYG (or £70 for a 10 class pass). All classes are drop in, no commitment to come every week, simply join whenever you fancy! Cash, cheque or bank transfer accepted. 

    Classes are also live streamed via Zoom (£6 PAYG)

  • HI Friends Rec Monday Club

    In partnership with PosAbility the HI Friends Rec Monday Club provides a variety of fitness activities/sessions every Monday at the Rec Centre for older people and those recovering from illness. Experienced instructors from PosAbility deliver the sessions and transport to these activities can be provided locally via the Minibus.

    10-11am  Stronger for Longer
    Enjoy social fitness with fun chair-based gentle exercises with a mixture of seated and standing positions … plus a cup of tea or coffee to finish!
    Cost is £6 per week (including a drink).

    11.30am-1.30pm  Specialist Exercise Activities
    Providing a positive attitude to those recovering from a stroke or living with a long term condition (eg Parkinsons. MS). Sessions include chair-based exercise, balance & resistance work, coordination & memory skills, speech and conversation.
    Cost is £14 per week (including a drink).

    1.45-3pm  Memory and Coordination Class
    Exercises to help improve memory and coordination, with professional instructors … plus a cup of tea or coffee to finish!
    Cost is £6 per week (including a drink)

  • Walking Rugby

    Walking Rugby sessions on Sundays 10am-11am at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.

    Walking Rugby is aimed mainly at Over-55s (men & women) on a reduced pitch and does not involve tackling, scrums or lineouts. No previous experience of rugby is necessary but, if you used to play, it’s great to throw a ball around again.

  • Shine Playgroup

    On Fridays 11am-12.15pm at the Saint Andrew’s Centre. A place for under fives and carers with a chance to meet with other parents to find support from one another and the team with tea, coffee and cakes. The sessions include singing, playing, telling stories, making things and chatting to each other about day to day life as new parents and about the bigger things when you want to.

    Shine is open to anyone and costs £2 per family.

  • Opportunity Playgroup

    Opportunity Playgroup

    Monday afternoons during school term time, between 1 & 3pm, at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

    The Playgroup provides play for preschool children with additional needs and disabilities and their siblings. It also provides a chance for parents and carers to meet and chat in a comfortable and supportive environment. The Playgroup welcomes families from Cambridge and all surrounding villages.
