  • Easter Beer Festival – Red Lion

    The Red Lion are hosting a number of events over the Easter Weekend

    Thursday 14th April: EASTER PUB QUIZ! Get your brainiac hat on for a bumper quiz with a top prize of £100 for the winner! Max 6 to a team, £2 per person!

    GOOD FRIDAY: The Beer Fest kicks off with a choice of THIRTY different cask ales for you to try! And why not pair it with a Beer Battered Fish and Chips, which we’ll be serving all day long!

    EASTER SATURDAY: Get your dancing shoes on with live music in the bar from 7pm onwards! Boogie Time!

    EASTER SUNDAY: Bring the family for a roast, and enjoy the extras! Kids (or adult) face painting, Easter Egg hunts in the garden, pizza shed will be going strong and even an animal farm in the garden!

    EASTER MONDAY: Beat the hangover with hair of the dog. Beers, Bloody Mary’s and BBQ!

  • Impington May Day Running Festival 2022

    Runs “off road” for all the family at the Recreation Ground from 9.30am on Sunday 2nd May, registration on the day from 8.45am and medals for under 14s.

    Impington 5k – 10.35am start

  • Histon and Impington Village Society and HIAG Talk

    Histon and Impington Village Society and Histon and Impington Archaeology Group (HIAG) are holding a joint talk on Monday 4th July from 7.30pm at Histon Baptist Church.

    Histon and Impington Village Society is holding a talk on Monday 25th April from 7.30pm at Histon Baptist Church.

    The talk “A potted history of two historic houses in Histon and their recent renovations  – The Gables and Histon Manor” will be made by Jo Roach and Katherine Mann.

    A workshop for anyone looking to take a new direction in their work at 10-11.30am on Friday 8th April in the Upstairs Hall at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

    A free interactive session to help you understand your strengths, talents and values and so help to figure out a new direction.

  • Easter Craft Fun

    Ladybirds playgroup are holding an Easter craft session on 1st April from 3.15 – 5pm at the Histon Salvation Army Hall.

    There will be crafts, baking and an egg hunt. Refreshments available.

  • Library Presents: Graffiti Classics

    The Library Presents is holding a concert at the Recreation Ground on 4th June, from 2.00 – 3.10pm.

    Graffiti Classics burst the elitist boundaries of the traditional string quartet with their hilarious all-singing, all-dancing musical comedy show. It’s a classical concert, a gypsy-folk romp, an opera, a stand-up comedy set and a brilliant dance show all rolled into one!

  • Impington Music Society Concert

    Impington Music Society is holding a concert from 7.30pm on 20th May at Impington Village College.

    The concert features Mnatobi (vocal group with James Eisner and friends). With arrangements of songs from diverse genres, including Renaissance, Folk, Georgian, African, Doo-wop and Pop, Mnatobi graced the stage at the Lockdown Live Folk Festival and were invited to perform at the Georgian Ambassador’s farewell ceremony.

    Concerts are held in the Brackenbury Room. The normal entrance to a concert is £10 (£5 for under-18s) for visitors, who are very welcome.

  • Impington Music Society Concert

    James Eisner (voice) and Ian De Massini (piano) will perform a wonderful collection of English songs ranging from Elizabethan Love Songs to the humour of Noel Coward and Flanders and Swann.

    Impington Sports Centre is running a range of activities over the Easter holidays as well as Monstrous Fun holiday club.

    Determinator pool inflatable on Thursdays 7th and 14th April.

    Trampolining, swimming, diving, rookie lifeguard and synchronised swimming sessions.
