    Cambridge Quilters will be holding their bring and share Summer Party on Wednesday 13th July at an open air venue in Impington (TBC).

    Local meetings in Impington take place on the second Wednesday of the month at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.

  • Pop-Up Market

    There will be a Pop-up market and Cafe on Friday 10th June from 9am to 12pm at Histon Baptist Church.

    There will be stalls selling cakes, plants and books raising funds for S Club 21, a social club for Cambridgeshire’s Down’s Syndrome community.

  • Summer Celebration of Piano Music

    Local piano teacher, Richard Smith, is holding his twelfth annual Summer Celebration of Piano Music on Saturday 9th July from 2.30 to 3.30pm at Impington Village College.

    Fifteen pupils will perform pieces of pre-Grade 1 to Grade 7 standard. Admission is free to all with tea and homemade cake served after the performances. It will take place in the Brackenbury Room.

    By kind permission of the loan of the piano by the Impington Musical Society.

  • Walking in Faith

    Saint Andrew’s Church is holding a walk every fourth Monday from 10.30am.

    It is an opportunity to walk and talk, and also to spend some quiet time reflecting and praying.

    The walk will be approximately 3 miles at a gentle pace and good footwear is advised.

    Histon and Impington Brook Primary School will be holding its Summer Fair on Friday 8th July from 3.30pm on the school field.

    A chance for everyone to get together at last, with games, fun activities, stalls, food, drink, music, dancing and more.

  • Bake Off for a Jubilee Garden Party

    HI Friends are holding a Bake Off competition as part of the the Jubilee Garden Party on the Rec at 12.30 on Sunday 5th June.

    Cakes need to taste great, look celebratory and be able to be cut and shared. All cakes will be cut and sold at the Garden Party

    Age categories:

    • 11 and under
    • 12-16
    • 17+

    Bring your creation to the Bake Off table at the Recreation Ground between 12.30 and 1pm. Include cake name, ingredient list, contact details.

    Prize giving at 1.30pm.

  • Jubilee Weekend at The Boot

    The Boot is putting on some special events for the extended Jubilee weekend from 2nd to 5th June.

    On offer will be Pimms, Jubilee specials, live music, a giant game of drafts and a giant deckchair to hang out with friends.

    Thursday 2nd June – comedy show in the tent from 8pm.

    Friday 3rd June -BBQ and music from Swagger.

    Saturday 4th June – garden games and BBQ.
