  • Coronation Screening

    Histon and Impington Salvation Army will be showing the Coronation of King Charles live on the Big Screen on Saturday 6th May.

    Take a seat, have a cuppa, relax and enjoy sharing together on this historic occasion.

    Watch in the Main Hall or in the Community Hall/Garden. Come as you are or dress up if you wish.

  • Coronation Boogie Night

    Celebrate the coronations with an evening of Boogie Nights organised by HI Friends at the Gropius Hall, IVC on Saturday 6 May 7.30-11.30pm.

    Featuring the fantastic Band “Superstition” a 9-piece with a brass section and a Licensed bar.

    HI Friends is running an Activities Fair, as part of its Wellbeing Festival, on Saturday 22nd April from 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

  • End of Life Talk

    HI Friends has organised a talk by End of Life Support Worker, Jo Franklin, on Thursday 4th May from 7-8pm at Kay Hitch Community Centre.

    Our growing & ageing population needs more help than ever to navigate end-of-life care in the modern world. How can a community help each other to live and die well?

    No need to book. Just come along. Sensitive topics around death will be discussed.

  • HILF Book Sale

    Histon and Impington Library Friends (HILF) are hold a book sale on Saturday 8th April at Histon Methodist Church Hall from 10am to 12pm.

    For all donations of quality books, please can you drop off at 9.30am on the day at the church hall.

    We very much look forward to seeing you there while enjoying the refreshments on offer in the hall.

  • Wellbeing Festival

    HI Friends is running a Wellbeing Festival from Saturday 22nd April through until Monday 8th May. The programme will include 34 different activities, events and workshops focused on all aspects of wellbeing.

  • The Day of the Daylily

    Histon and Impington Garden Club is meeting on Tuesday 11th April from 7.30pm at Histon Methodist Church hall.

    Paula Dyason from Strictly Daylilies will give an overview of the different daylilies and their general care and requirements.

  • Easter Beer Festival

    The Red Lion is holding a Beer Festival from the evening of Thursday 6th April through until the evening of Monday 10th April.

    Serving up over 18 real ales from the local area including IVO, Papworth brewery, Nene valley and Oakham. Pizza shed firing from 5-9pm on Thursday and Friday, and all day on Saturday. BBQ, Easter Sunday set menu and an adult Easter egg hunt.

    Saturday and Sunday evenings will see music from Carla Gray and the Moses Carter Band. Keep an eye on Red Lion Social media for full details.

  • Kawaii Kubs Garden Party

    Kawaii Kubs is holding a play session on Sunday 16th April from 9am for different age groups at the Royal British Legion.

    Explore sensory and messy flower trays and activities and make a beautiful paper flower to take home. You can also climb, leap and slide down Cambridge Soft Play’s garden themed soft play. 

    Sessions at 9am, 10.30am and 3pm are for Preschool mixed ages of walking to 5 years. 12pm and 1.30pm is also suitable for babies.

    Histon Library is holding two Lego sessions during the Easter holidays on Monday 3rd and Thursday 13th April from 11.15am – 12.30pm.
