  • Butterfly Count

    Abbey Fields are taking part in the Big Butterfly Count which runs from 15th July to 7th August.

    They are looking for volunteers to join in counting at both Croft Close Set-aside and Long Meadow. If the weather is suitable, counts will be made on:

    Sunday 17th July at 11:30am – meet at the end of Croft Close

  • On Stage Summer School

    On Stage Performing Arts School are holding a Summer School from 1st to 5th August at Histon and Impington Brook Primary School.

    Children will take part in dance, singing and acting. Age 4-16 years.

    Kawaii Kubs are holding a play session on Sunday 14th August at the Royal British Legion.

    Practice your driving skills through the different sensory play trays, play traffic cone hoop toss, and get your cars squeaky clean at the car wash.

    Sessions for different age groups from 9am to 4pm. Booking essential.

    The Kidstonfest ends with a family festival on Sunday 28th August at Histon Smokehouse from 9.30am to 6pm.

    The event features Crafty Kids stalls, craft sessions, music, magic and more.

  • Kidstonfest

    Crafty Kids are joining forces with Histon Smokehouse for Kidstonfest, a week-long Summer holiday festival run by kids to inspire kids from 24th to 28th August, fundraising for local children’s hospice EACH.

    Local children will have the opportunity to have fun and learn some brilliant art/craft/design skills at a range of summer holiday morning creative workshops which will run from 10am-3pm. This might inspire them to make their own products and join Crafty Kidpreneurs in the future.

    These workshops will lead up to a big fun day festival in the Smokehouse garden on Sunday 28th August featuring regular Crafty Kids stallholders, plus the usual music, food, fun, raffle, tombola, entertainment and games.

  • Big Mountain Live Music

    The King Bill is having an evening of live music on Saturday 23rd July from 6 – 9.30pm.

    Big Mountain will perform live music featuring guitar, saxophone, drums, bass, harmonica and vocals.

  • Scratch from Scratch

    Histon Library are holding a children’s coding event on Thursday 28th July from 10am – 11.30am.

    Join the Centre for Computing History for a workshop making an entire game from scratch in Scratch – an infinite runner based on the Google Chrome Dinosaur game.

    Recommended for ages 8 and up.

    The numbers are limited for this event so will be run on a first come first served basis.
