    Kawaii Kubs Valentine

    Kawaii Kubs is holding a Valentine’s play session on Sunday 12th February between 9am and 5.30pm with different time slots for a range of age groups from preschool to 9 years old.

    Fall in love with sensory play trays and messy fun, make Valentine’s cards for a special someone and make love bug headbands craft.

    Older Kawaii Kids will have added craft activities,  cup cake decorating and jewellery making (5-9 years from 4.30pm).

  • Cambridgeshire Geological Society Talk

    Cambridgeshire Geological Society is holding a talk on Monday 13th February from 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm) at the Saint Andrew’s Centre.

    The talk by Dr Claudio Garbelli from the University of Cambridge is entitled “Fossil brachiopods shells as outstanding archives of climate in the deep past”.

  • Monstrous Fun Holiday Club

    Impington Sports Centre is running its holiday club during the week of 13th February.

    The days run from 8.30am to 5.30pm and it is for children aged 5 to 11 years old. Swimming, sports and games, arts & crafts, movie time, Determinator Inflatable (Thursday only) and trampoline (Friday only).

    Histon Football Club is delighted to be opening its turnstiles to the next generation of supporters on Saturday 4th February’s fixture against Bugbrooke St Michaels, where all children from the villages two Primary Schools have been invited to attend.

  • Impington Music Society – Piano Concert

    Impington Music Society is holding a concert on Friday 10th February from 7.30pm in the Brackenbury Room at Impington Village College.

    We have a very special group of talented local young pianists – all are the pupils of the highly respected piano teacher, Thanea Hodges. We can promise you an absolutely delightful evening. One aim of our Society is to give young musicians the opportunity to play to a welcoming audience in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, and to have the experience of playing our lovely grand piano.

  • Performing Arts Holiday Workshops

    Cambridgeshire Music is running half term holiday workshops from 14th -16th February at its county hub in New School Road.

    Exploring the writings of William Shakespeare the workshops will be looking at the history of the work, the performance techniques and music and putting on our own versions. All students will earn an Arts Award Discover Certificate.

    Impington International College is putting on a performance on Thursday 9th February from 6.30pm.

    This is a Year 13 production of Duncan Macmillan’s People, Places and Things for an audience of 16+.

    An unsentimental take on addiction and recovery that offers no easy answers. People, places and things explores the need for human connection in a world of vivid highs and vivid lows – where self medication sometimes appears to be the answer and often appears to be the end.

    South Cambs Community Engagement Meeting

    Cambridgeshire Constabulary is holding a South Cambs Community Engagement meeting on Tuesday 7th February from 7pm online.

    During the meeting you will get the opportunity to meet your neighbourhood officers, find out what has been happening over the past three months and help shape the policing priorities for the future. There is also a question-and-answer section so you can ask the neighbourhood officers anything you wish.
