NIAB, a crop science organisation, are looking for this role based at their new Park Farm location in Impington.
Trainee Technical Specialist to assist with delivery of the DUS and Seed Certification programs. Work is focused on the assessment and description of plant varieties and involves sample handling, trial set-up and drilling, recording of plant characteristics and crop inspections. The role involves extensive field work, along with associated office, laboratory and glasshouse duties. Outside work takes place in all seasons and some tasks are physically demanding.
