Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) are looking for a Band 6 Tissue Viability & Continence Specialist Nurse to join the community team based in Histon Police Station. The role is to improve clinical outcomes in the prevention of wounds and the management of tissue damage due to incontinence, pressure and other comorbidities as well as treating patients referred with bladder and bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
The role includes assessing complex patients in their home or in a nurse led clinic setting, participating in teaching and mentoring of other professionals, engaging in clinical trials and research and have an in-depth knowledge of wound care and continence formularies.
