Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse who has extensive experience scrubbing patients within ophthalmic or has a key interest and willing to develop in this area. You will still be expected to scrub in other areas and not restricted to developing your skills.Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including ENT, neurological, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology and urology. Bank Theatre Nurse to cover multi-specialties with 5 operating theatres that are busy throughout the day, every day is never the same due to the diversity of the workload. They prefer theatre staff to be as multi-skilled as possible, so ideally you will be able to work across scrub, anaesthetics and/or recovery, but many of our staff specialise in just one or two areas. Most importantly theatre staff are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision.
