Lead Chef/Assistant Manager to take a lead role in consistently preparing, cooking, and presenting food, under the direction of the Catering Manager. Take responsibility for the daily food safety management and all relevant due diligence paperwork. Assist with supervision of staff and trainees, whose kitchen duties are allocated by the Catering Manager. To undertake necessary duties in the kitchen / service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered. Deputise for Catering Manager in their absence.
