Histon Football Club is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper volunteer to handle the club’s finances.
Histon FC Ltd is community-based club run by volunteers and providing football facilities at youth, ladies and senior semi-professional levels. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining all financial records, management reports and year-end accounts.
The post-holder will be working mainly with other volunteers within a friendly and welcoming environment. An interest in the running of a competitive football club is not essential, but experience of handling financial records and accountancy procedures is a requirement of the post. The post may also suit anyone training in accountancy as a handover period with the existing post-holder will be provided.
