Local charity supporting older people and carers. Offering a wide range of services to support living independently at home, including: Community Warden Service, Cambridgeshire Handyperson Service, free and confidential information and advice, practical support to get home from hospital and during recovery period, volunteers offering friendship contact to reduce isolation and loneliness.
Befriending
A scheme for adults who are struggling with their mental well­being to come together with trained volunteers offering friendship, support and a sense of connection.

Hearing Help
Cambridgeshire Hearing Help aims to reduce the impact of hearing loss on people’s lives across Cambridgeshire.
A peer support and social group for people with a visual impairment, and their families, friends and carers. Meets third Thursday in the month, 2-4pm, Homefield Close Community Centre. Newcomers welcome.
CamSight’s monthly Peer Support Groups provide an opportunity to meet with others, who live with a life-changing sight loss condition, and receive information from CamSight representatives and guest speakers.
