Histon and Impington Town Charity, formerly Histon Poors Land (Charity No. 203213) is an ancient charity that owns land on Cottenham Road, Histon, where allotments (sometimes known as Paradise Allotments) are currently managed by the charity. The object of the charity is the relief of persons living in the parishes of Histon or Impington…in need, hardship or distress which may be met by grants of money, the provision of goods, services or facilities, or by grants of money to persons or bodies providing such facilities. The trustees of the charity are nominated by the Parish Council and the two Parochial Church Councils.
Volunteer library visitors, in partnership with Cambridgeshire Libraries and Archives Service, deliver monthly to those unable to visit a library.
