HI Friends
A companion, alongside professional services, for those facing a life-limiting diagnosis, have a palliative condition or are having end of life care in their own home; support and information for family and informal carers.
Histon Feast
Events and activities are organised annually for Histon and Impington Feast Week to involve people of all ages and groups, and to raise funds for charities and organisations. Feast Week 2020 is the first full week of July. Closing date for applications from charities: 23 January (at AGM). Histon and Impington Town Charity, formerly Histon Poors Land (Charity No. 203213) is an ancient charity that owns land on Cottenham Road, Histon, where allotments (sometimes known as Paradise Allotments) are currently managed by the charity.

The disposal of household waste in a commercial-type vehicle or any trailer in excess of 1.5m length (excluding the towing mechanism) or 570 litre capacity now requires an e-permit. E-permits are issued free of charge to residents on a one per household basis. Only twelve visits to a recycling centre are allowed per twelve-month period.
