The Besom in Histon and Impington
The Besom in Histon and Impington is a voluntary service which represents the village churches in action, helping local people on benefits who need goods or a hand with their homes. Most referrals come via South Cambridgeshire District Council social housing services, but not exclusively.
Organisation
Small groups meet in homes in the village.

Connections Bus Project
Histon Youth Zone (Years 7-9): Mondays, 3.45-5.15pm, Recreation Centre. Café, cooking, games, crafts, table tennis, sports and trips. The Generation Game (Years 7-13): ten-week course training young people to support older people in our community through workshops and organised activities. Looking after other people’s children: a very popular ten-week babysitting course run twice a year for young people (14+).
