Chair-based exercise groups for older people and those recovering from some illnesses, meeting with qualified instructors on Mondays at the Recreation Centre. Transport within village on request. To restart when able. 10–11am: social fitness with a mixture of seated and standing positions. 11.30am–1.30pm: living with stroke and other long-term conditions. 2–3pm: memory and coordination exercise classes.

A Parish Council facility situated on the New Road/Bridge Road junction, providing facilities for tennis, bowls, cricket and football; also a children’s playground. Community room in Recreation Centre, Multi Use Games Area (muga) and hard tennis court all available for hire.

Recycling Centre e-Permit Scheme

Recycling Centre e-Permit Scheme

The disposal of household waste in a commercial-type vehicle or any trailer in excess of 1.5m length (excluding the towing mechanism) or 570 litre capacity now requires an e-permit. E-permits are issued free of charge to residents on a one per household basis. Only twelve visits to a recycling centre are allowed per twelve-month period.
