The role involves assisting and advising customers on frame selection and lens choice, dispensing of spectacles, collection and fitting, adjustments and repairs. You would be completing NHS paperwork, and some administrative duties. Monthly practice targets and frame incentives enable colleagues to benefit from a generous bonus scheme.

    This is a mobile role providing cover not only for the Histon practice, but also the Newmarket and Waterbeach practices, so your own drivers licence and vehicle is a requirement.

    Assistant Site Officer/Cleaner at Histon and Impington Park Primary School the role will be varied and will include some general maintenance and cleaning of the new school site: locking and unlocking, monitoring vehicles coming on and off the school site as well as key holder duties. You may occasionally need to test the fire/security alarm, liaise with contractors and support the management of health and safety on the site. There may be some supervision of the premises during community use, where appropriate. An element of out of hours work may occasionally be necessary and you may be asked to do additional hours to cover staff absence. Monday to Friday, 2.30 – 4.30pm 10 hours per week.
