You’ll do this by developing performance reporting capabilities, including KPIs, SQL reporting tools and monitoring dashboards. Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, using BI tools. Collaborating with different areas of the business to gather data requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Assisting with the analysis and interpretation of KPI data and dashboard information, highlighting performance issues.

The purpose of this role is to make sure that the business has up-to-date, relevant, efficient, and effective computer systems and software, helping them to achieve our aims, deliver high customer satisfaction and service quality. You’ll do this by providing day-to-day operational and technical support for Business systems and service policies. Implementing and maintaining data quality checks and validation processes. Gathering data from various sources, including databases, applications, APIs, and flat files, and transforming it into a format suitable for analysis. Collaborate with the business to assess the use of existing applications and pro-actively suggest improvements.

The postholder will assist and deputise for the Area Library Manager in the day-to-day running of these libraries, as well as the management of staff and volunteers. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, as travel between the five libraries is essential. The successful candidate will need to work flexibly, with a requirement for some lone, weekend and evening working.   Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential, but they welcome applications from all walks of life, who could bring new perspectives to this exciting opportunity.  Experience of working in libraries would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Interviews will be held on Thursday 27th April 2023 at Bar Hill Library.
