NIAB, a crop science organisation are looking for this new role based at their Park Farm location in Impington.
Glasshouse Technician to work with a wide range of agricultural and horticultural crop species in their protected environment growing facilities. Managing plants to specific protocols for a variety of crop trials. Plant care, including watering, potting, feeding, monitoring, treating for pests and diseases, staking, dead-heading, pruning and propagating and occasionally assessing and photographing plants. The team is responsible for growing crops for commercial and research purposes that include cereals, legumes and ornamental crops. Closing date 12 Mar 2023
