Analytical Services Technician to work in the Biochemical and Pathogen Diagnostic laboratories, this multi-disciplinary role activities include: sample receipt and registration; media and sample preparation; sample analysis using a wide range of laboratory based techniques, including visual identification of fungi by microscopy, molecular techniques for the Pathogen Diagnostics lab and NIR spectroscopy/ NMR in the biochemistry lab, and some preliminary report production.
