Tissue Culture Technician/Specialist to undertake routine transformation and method development of legume species including soybean, Vicia faba and Phaseolus vulgaris. Support with transformation and tissue culture of other crop species may also be required depending on project workload within the group. Closing date: 04 Sep 2022
Plant Molecular Biologist (2 year fixed term in the first instance) to play a key role in providing molecular biology experience within the Crop Transformation Group. To provide expertise for projects including cloning techniques and gene editing strategies, analysis of transgenic plants, including transcript expression and genotyping; design assays and evaluate new technologies; deliver research outputs on funded projects and contracts, publish peer reviewed papers and to contribute to the development of NIAB’s research capability.
